Martin Denbar, DDS.
Dr. Martin Denbar brings nearly three decades of experience and a track record of having treated over 6000 patients to the Central Texas area. He is nationally recognized as one of the leaders in the field, brought the field of Dental Sleep Medicine to the Central Texas area in 1995, helped write the first Diplomate examination in 1998, has developed new medical devices and treatment techniques, published in International, national, and regional medical and dental professional publications, and lectured on the national scene to both physicians and dentists.
On a personal note, Dr. Denbar is a native of Texas and obtained his doctorate at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston in 1975. During his formal educational journey, he was inducted into numerous national honor societies. After graduating with his doctorate, he joined the United States Navy Dental Corps and served with the Third Marine Division Fleep Marine Forces at Camp Pendelton, California and in Okinawa, Japan. As the battalion dentist for the Logistic Support Unit, Second Battalion, Ninth Regiment, Third Marine Division, he was part of Operation Paul Bunyan in Korea in 1996.
With his wife of 43 years, they enjoy the country atmosphere on their ranch outside of Austin. The ranch allows for fishing and hunting with their kids and grandkids, relaxing on his tractor, maintaining their butterfly garden, and putting in new gardens when time allows.

Our employees are mature, experienced, and able to accommodate a variety of patients’ needs with complex medical conditions.
Ariel B.
Our fabulous office manager brings her 12 years of experience in the field of Dental Sleep Medicine. On a national basis, Ariel is one of only a few managers with the expertise to work with insurance claims and claims management for in-network, contracted, and credentialed doctors. If there are insurance benefits to be obtained, she has the expertise and experience to get them. She has a wonderful husband and three children.
Lisa B.
Lisa began her journey with Dr. Denbar into the field of Dental Sleep Medicine as his office manager in 1998. She has been with him from the beginning of the journey into being a contracted, in-network medical provider when our office was virtually the only one with this distinction in the nation. As Ariel’s mother, she has shared her wealth of knowledge about the idiosyncrasies of Dental Sleep Medicine insurance claims and claims management. She is our go-to person when needed and one of the most knowledgeable claims experts in this field. Lisa has been married for decades and enjoys the country life outside of Austin.
Shareece H.
Shareece has been our clinical assistant for over 2 years now. Working with Dr. Denbar on a one-on-one basis, her present expertise working with oral appliances can match most doctors providing this same service. She has a soothing personality and an excellent chairside manner. She also assists Dr. Denbar by training other dental assistants during Dr. Denbar’s Dental Sleep Business Seminars. She is also married with two rambunctious sons.
